Megabytes Mini Shrimp Pizza

I love snacks and being a shark, I love seafood. This recipe idea combines both and will serve 6 starving sharks.

  • 6 Wegmans bagels, halved
  • 1 1/2 cups Food You Feel Good About Pizza Sauce
  • 2 bags (5 ounces each) New Boston Cooked Shrimp, thawed
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms
  • 3 cups (12 ounces) shredded Asiago or Mozzarella cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread each bagel half with tomato sauce.
  3. Top with shrimp, green pepper, and mushrooms; sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake 10 minutes or until cheese bubbles.

Megabyte's Muf-faces

I learned about the Food Pyramid on the 'Net. Can you identify which food groups are included in this tasty snack favorite of mine?

  • 1 Wegmans English muffin (whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon Wegmans peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana
  • 4 raisins
  • 2 small strawberries
  • 2 orange segments
  1. Split the muffins in half and place in a toaster or toaster oven. Toast until golden brown.
  2. Put your oven mitts on to remove. Spread each half with peanut butter while its warm.
  3. Cut the bananas into disks. Set aside four and snack on the rest.
  4. Make a face on each muffin by using two banana disks each topped with one raisin for eyes, 1 strawberry for a nose and 1 orange section for a mouth. Serve with a cold glass of milk and you've covered five groups!
